Join clinical herbalist and aromatherapist, Erika Galentin of Sovereignty Herbs for a journey through our primary senses of sight, smell, and taste and how these senses can be engaged through the ritualistic and ceremonial use of medicinal and aromatic plants. Inspired by the work of Carl Jung (analytic psychology) and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (phenomenology), Erika will guide us through examples of sacred plant rituals that can support a deeper understanding of the ‘Self’ and our heart-path work and purpose in this world. Topics explored will include:
~ How color, flavor, and aroma interact with the Psyche through our sense perceptions.
~ How the aroma, color, and flavor of plants can enable exploration of the Self through their impacts on the psyche.
~ Examples of how plant-based rituals can be useful for gaining a deeper understanding of the ‘Self’ and our heart-path and purpose.
