Stress is omnipresent in people's lives as it seems built in to the social structures we live in. In almost all physical and emotional conditions that challenge our wellness, the impacts of stress can be seen either as a causative or contributing factor.
And it's not all in our heads! Everyone can certainly relate to stress causing muscular tension, but it extends far beyond that into our guts, our lungs, our hearts, and every system in our bodies – and we each respond to stress uniquely with different patterns because we're different people. The virtues of the plants we might turn to are also different and can help support the unique ways our bodies process the stresses we face.
