Saturday September 28, at Arts West in Athens, Ohio; People's Pop Up formally invites you to our first "Folk Art Medicine Show", starting at 2pm.

If you have been to our events before, you know we aspire to host events that promote connection and engagement with our amazing community. We are taking it to a new level with this event.

The day will be filled with FREE classes of various healthful modalities such as herbal medicine, yoga and plant walks. As well as a marketplace of folk art that carries a medicinal thread, demonstrations on distillation, live plants, herbal remedies, tarot readers, massage…... Nixtamalized will be vending food, Little Fish will have beer, Herbal Sage will be selling tea. Brother Hill will take the stage to close the event.

To us,"Folk medicine" means the "people’s medicine”. This may be plants or plant based products, movement, energy work, healing crafts, music, or other esoteric work. We envision this event to be a space to bring our community together to explore, learn and network with the folk art medicine that resides within these hills..
